We understand that sensible fat loss and muscle building will increase longevity - therefore we offer body positive weight loss which focuses on nourishing foods that keep you full, satisfied, and energized while weight loss happens organically as a by-product. We do not waste time with restrictive diets, but focus on sustainable lifestyle changes that create huge results and a happier, healthier YOU.

Transform the Picky Eater in your life to a Food Lover, without the arguments, stress, or chaos.

Through family-based nutrition counseling, we work with families to identify how to elevate the nutrition in favorite foods and expand food preferences over time in a stress-free and fun way. Our proven method gives busy families the tools they need to transform picky eaters of any age into a food lover.

We guide parents in feeding infants and toddlers throughout all developmental stages, so your child is more likely to embrace new foods as they grow. We also work with adult picky eaters who want to try new foods and expand their palate in a safe and enjoyable way.

Lisa uniquely works with dogs who are refusing to eat (aka waiting to lick their human’s plate clean). She provides guidance on what type of food to offer your dog and how to make it more appealing to them. Additionally, she can provide advice on how to manage your dog's nutritional needs and ensure that they are receiving the necessary nutrients to maintain their health.

Lisa has changed the lives of thousands of adults, teens, children, and dogs through individual, couple, and family evidence-based nutrition counseling.

Lisa’s Story

I grew up in an Italian-American family where food was more than fuel, it was a way of life. During my childhood, I could be found at my Nonna’s house asking for thirds of her famous pasta & sauce (the best in the world) or home helping my mom mix and pour as we followed along to a handwritten recipe that had been passed down to her over generations. Once I started middle school, I felt the pressure to be thinner and my relationship with food became complicated. By the time I started high school I was in a chaotic cycle of dieting and disliking my body. Here are a few of the ways dieting took over my life:

  • I compulsively weighed myself every morning, afternoon, and night. The number on the scale decided how I felt about myself and how I ate for the day.

  • I thought about food all day long. I went hours without eating, kept logs of what I had already eaten on My Fitness Pal, and dreamed about ‘forbidden foods’ I swore off.

  • I would emotionally binge eat in hiding, shame myself, purge, then under-eat for as long as I could until another emotional binge would occur.

  • I was always jumping on the newest diet, punishing myself with excessive exercise, and living by restrictive food rules. When I inevitably broke one, the guilt was crushing.

For years I struggled with amenorrhea, disordered eating, and orthorexia; by finding food freedom I was able to heal my relationship with food, feel my most energized ever, and overcome a 10-year long eating disorder on my own. I used to place my worth in my body size and cared too much about what other people thought of me. Now I have rekindled my love for food and my body, I eat ALL foods free of restriction or guilt, and move my body for fun, not punishment.

I am free. Every body deserves to be.

My journey to giving up dieting took courage, persistence, and lots of support — and now I’m here to be that guide and support system for you or your loved one.

It is time to bring the joy back to eating,

“Lisa is not only knowledgeable but also approachable and sweet! My 10 year old refused to try new foods for years he only ate chicken nuggets, fries, and grapes. I felt like I tried everything and his diet just kept becoming more and more restricted. Lisa worked with us weekly for 3 months and transformed the way my son eats. My son felt so comfortable with her and looked forward to virtual sessions! He is trying many more foods and mealtimes are much less stressful. My only regret is that I waited so long to reach out to her!”
